NEW MADRID, Mo. (KFVS) - The holidays are right around the corner which means your kids are making their list of all the gifts they want this year.

But how do you know if the toy they’re begging for is worth your money?

We’re testing out this year’s best-selling toys to get opinions straight from the experts before you buy it.

Our toy testing experts at New Madrid Elementary School are testing out Light-Up Sky Rockets .

They might seem kind of self-explanatory, but before Mrs. Grissom’s 4th Graders could get to blasting the rockets, they had to set them up.

“The legs aren’t legging,” one toy tester said.

“One of the legs fell off,” another student added.

Which proved to be a bit of a task without some help.
