Kingman and Bullhead City households face deeper financial challenges than their neighbors across northwest Arizona, with lower wealth levels, less savings, and higher rates of delinquent debt, according to newly released data from the Urban Institute.

The nonprofit Urban Institute, based in Washington, D.C., launched an updated "Financial Health and Wealth Dashboard" this week that examines local-level economic data across the country. The tool goes beyond income to measure savings, credit scores, utility burdens, retirement access, and other indicators of financial well-being. For Mohave County’s northern communities, the dashboard offers a detailed look at how residents are faring—and where support may be needed.
