In today’s polarized world, where many nations are in conflict, Canada should stand firmly as its own entity. Our national and provincial flags are sufficient symbols of identity, and federal obligations can remain distinct from provincial practices. It is impractical to mark every country’s national day, heritage celebration, or cultural observance. Canada is a place where people choose to come, respect its laws, and integrate into its society.
