JAMMU, Nov 18: A delegation of the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), J&K Chapter, today called on Dr Arun Manhas, Director Industries & Commerce, Jammu, to suggests measures to improve business in Jammu region.

The delegation was led by Manik Batra, Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K Council, and Bhupesh Gupta, Co-Chairman. Bhisham Batra, Kshitij Agarwal and Amit Khajuria were also part of the meeting.

During the interaction, the ASSOCHAM delegation apprised Manhas regarding slow down in commercial activities in Jammu due to factors such as the region’s landlocked geography and limited growth opportunities. The delegation stressed the need for a comprehensive policy intervention to revive and support the business ecosystem of Jammu.
