MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa —
Miller Middle School in Marshalltown is getting a major facelift after the school board signed off on several bids to move the project forward.
The 100-year-old school is set to receive newer classrooms, a library, a courtyard and updated athletic facilities. Bids approved at the school board meeting Monday night cover the building's new exterior windows and concrete for the additions.
The first phase should be finished by 2029.
