In an effort to streamline traffic operations across Gurgaon, the police last week introduced a new geo-location tracking system and a technology-driven traffic management platform inspired by the ‘Stanford Design Thinking’ principles.

The tracking system brings together real-time information on one screen, allowing officers to monitor key junctions, traffic flow, and field personnel.

Zonal officers can now file digital reports from the field, flag road repairs or barricading needs, and upload photographs, all of which reach the control room instantly. Residents can also send traffic suggestions or complaints through an online form or by email.
