A fast-moving weather system will bring rain to central Pennsylvania through tonight, with some higher elevations experiencing wet snow.
While accumulations will be minimal due to marginal temperatures, drivers should be prepared for changing conditions, especially in mountainous areas.
Rain will spread across the region this afternoon and continue overnight, potentially transitioning back to snow in east-central Pennsylvania along the I-80 to US-220 corridors between midnight and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Temperatures will hover near or slightly above freezing overnight, limiting snow accumulation primarily to non-paved and elevated surfaces.
The precipitation is expected to end by Wednesday morning as high pressure builds into the area.
