GRAND FORKS — The UND football program has picked up a rare FBS recruiting flip in the 2026 recruiting class.
Christian Davis of Chaminade-Madonna High School in Florida, who previously committed to Northern Illinois in August, has decided to now pledge to play for the Fighting Hawks and expects to sign with UND in early December.
The 6-foot-1 cornerback is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.
"When I went up for a visit, they had everything I was looking for — good facilities, good environment, their coaching staff," Davis said. "Everything you want in a program, they have it."
Davis transferred to Chaminade before his senior season. The team went 6-4 in the regular season and still alive in the playoffs.
