DETROIT – It was a good night for young Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, and an old one, too.
Rookies Nate Danielson and Emmitt Finnie scored goals, and 38-year-old Cam Talbot made 20 saves in a 4-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken at Little Caesars Arena.
Danielson’s goal was his first point in his fifth NHL game. He also assisted on Finnie’s power-play goal. Axel Sandin-Pellikka contributed an assist to make it a four-point night for Detroit rookies.
Dylan Larkin sealed the victory with an empty-net goal with 30 seconds remaining. It was his 12 th goal and 600 th career point. Lucas Raymond had a goal and an assist.
The Red Wings (12-7-1) have won back-to-back games. Seattle fell to 9-5-5.
The Red Wings scored three goals in the second period and led 3-2 after 40 minutes.
