NEW YORK — Daniel Radcliffe revealed Tuesday that he sent a letter to 11-year-old Dominic McLaughlin, the actor cast to portray Harry Potter in HBO's upcoming television series, offering words of encouragement as the young star begins his own journey in the wizarding world.
Radcliffe shared the news during an appearance on "Good Morning America," telling hosts he had reached out to McLaughlin and received a note back.
"I just wanted to write to him to say, 'I hope you have the best time, and an even better time than I did — I had a great time, but I hope you have an even better time,'" Radcliffe said on the show.
