Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has called on reporters to confront Prime Minister Anthony Albanese with a key energy question as the Coalition unveils its gas-driven policy.
On Sunday, Mr Albanese criticised the Liberal Party for dumping net zero and blamed the former Morrison government for soaring electricity prices.
The Prime Minister’s remarks came after the Liberals abandoned their net zero target, saying they would prioritise power prices over emissions reduction.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Ms Ley took a swipe at the Prime Minister and called on journalists to continue questioning his government on his energy bill promises.
