COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M men’s basketball (3-2) got back in the win column with an 86-80 win over Montana (4-2). Here is a brief game rundown.

Why did the Aggies win? Texas A&M got off to a fast start and used a strong first half to take a 45-31 halftime lead. The Aggies shot 70.8% from the floor in the first half and shot 6-for-11 from three.

They did not keep that up in the second half, shooting 40.0% in the second half and an abysmal 1-for-12 from behind the arc. While the Aggies weren’t hitting their three-pointers, the Grizzlies caught fire, shooting 72.0% from the field and 8-for-13 from three in the final 20 minutes to almost pull off the upset.
