New Delhi: Apple has expanded its AppleCare Plus programme in India, introducing new monthly and annual plans along with a Theft and Loss option for iPhone users. The update marks the first time Indian customers are getting complete iPhone protection directly from the company, including coverage for stolen or misplaced devices.
The move comes as many users in India have long relied on third party insurance for theft coverage, partly because Apple’s earlier protection plans were limited and required a one time payment. The new subscription model aims to make device protection more accessible, especially for buyers who prefer smaller recurring payments instead of paying a large amount upfront.
