Zips football ends best season in nearly a decade with a W and a milestone

Akron football reaches five overall wins and four Mid-American Conference wins for the first time since 2017.

The Zips achieved both in their season finale, a 19-16 win at Bowling Green in a Mid-American Conference game in front of 9,867 fans at Doyt Perry Stadium on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
