TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Following a microburst that damaged hundreds of homes and businesses in Tempe in mid-October, there’s some concern that expected rainstorms could slow down what is already expected to be a long recovery process.
Joe Trasser has operated Joe’s AZ Bio Cleanup and Restoration in the Baseline Industrial Center for more than 15 years. The October storm ripped away the roofs and walls of businesses in the industrial park and damaged Trasser’s office.
“For myself and for most of the other tenants, the business has been interrupted. We’ve had to adapt,” he said.
In the days and weeks after that microburst, lots of work was done, including debris cleanup and inspections, to allow some business owners like Trasser to return to their offices.
