LOS ANGELES -- Things went crazy in the ballroom this week, with a semifinal round filled with music, dance and "purple" in tribute to Prince on week 10 of "Dancing with the Stars."

The night ended with a shocking elimination of one of the show's most consistent, high-scoring couples.

Each of the remaining six couples performed twice to some of Prince's most iconic hits:

Social media personality Alix Earle and partner Val Chmerkovskiy performed an Argentine Tango to "Little Red Corvette" and a Viennese Waltz to "Purple Rain."

Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson performed a Jive to "Baby I'm a Star" and a Viennese Waltz to "WOW."
