A 17-year-old boy was shot Tuesday evening in South Seattle, according to police.
Officers found the boy with a gunshot wound around 7:15 p.m. near 30th Avenue South and South Adams Street in the Columbia City neighborhood, Detective Brian Pritchard said. He did not know where on his body the boy was shot.
The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Investigators found shell casings and vehicles with bullet damage nearby, Pritchard said. There was no information on a possible suspect.
Separately, a man in his 60s was fatally shot Monday night, about three-quarters of a mile away from Tuesday’s shooting. Police found the man in the 3600 block of 33rd Avenue South in the Mount Baker neighborhood.
