Adani Defence and Aerospace, a subsidiary of the Adani Group, is planning to invest at least Rs. 7,000 crore to expand its ammunition manufacturing at a 500-acre site near Kanpur. The goal is to eventually supply about 25 per cent of India’s total ammunition requirement for the armed forces, central agencies, state police and special units.
