A mother accused of murdering her four-year-old son and staging his death is yet to learn if her case will proceed to Queensland's Supreme Court after a magistrate reserved his decision.
Lawyers for Tara Maree Richardson argued charges of murder and interfering with a corpse should be thrown out when she appeared for a committal hearing in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The naked body of four-year-old Tarrin-Macen O'Sullivan was found in a backyard pool at a home at Munbura, south of Mackay, on the afternoon of Sunday, August 29, 2021.
