272 retired judges and bureaucrats from across the country have issued an open letter, severely criticizing Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and the Congress party. This includes 16 former judges, 123 retired bureaucrats (including 14 former ambassadors), and 133 retired military officers.

These retired judges and bureaucrats alleged that the Congress is continuously trying to tarnish the image of constitutional institutions like the Election Commission, which creates unnecessary distrust in the democratic framework.
