KENNEWICK, Wash. – Benton County may soon have a new sheriff as the Board of Commissioners is set to hold a public meeting on Nov. 20 to interview candidates for the recently vacated position.
The meeting will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton County Administration Center.
The three candidates (profiles in the links) are:
Jeremy Carrigan
Michael Clark
Brad Klippert
The new sheriff must be appointed by Nov. 30. The appointee will serve until the November 2026 general election.
