A Russian drone attack on Kharkiv injured at least 40 people overnight into Wednesday, the regional governor said, as firefighters worked to battle blazes and evacuate residents.
Drones attacked several city districts, hitting at least 16 residential buildings, an ambulance station, a school and other civilian infrastructure, Kharkiv Oblast governor Oleh Syniehubov wrote on Telegram.
Meanwhile, Russian drones and missiles struck an energy facility in the Lviv region, the regional head said, with no injuries reported.
