Former Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU) boss John Setka abused a prominent anti-corruption barrister calling him a 'f***ing fat, ugly c**t, Queensland's commission of inquiry into the union has heard.
Geoffrey Watson SC, who authored a damning report into the Queensland branch, has given evidence over two days at the inquiry.
In his report, which triggered the probe, Mr Watson alleged the Queensland branch of the union used violence, intimidation and bullying against rival unions, public servants and workplace regulators to "support a pursuit of political, industrial and financial power."
