As many as five leading international rights organisations based in various European countries have condemned the death sentence handed down to ousted Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina by the so-called International Crime Tribunal (ICT). They have dubbed the verdict as consequence of a ‘politically motivated trial’ and called for global action to halt any action by the illegitimate interim regime of Bangladesh, consequent upon this sham trial.
