Former South Africa skipper and SA20 League Commissioner Graeme Smith reflected on the phenomenal growth of the league and noted the deep bond between the franchise league and the peninsular nation of India.

Speaking during SA20 India Day, Smith touched up on the league’s impact and South Africa’s cricket ties with India and opined that the sub-continent holds a place of special important in the ascend of South African cricket.
