Shubman Gill was seen at the Kolkata airport on Wednesday, catching a flight to Guwahati, the venue for the second Test against South Africa starting November 22. It has been reported, however, that the Indian captain arrived at the airport in a separate vehicle, accompanied by the team physio.

According to the report from RevSportz, Gill used a different car to reach the airport and had the support of the team physio, while the remainder of the Indian squad travelled together. A video circulating on social media captured him checking in at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport while wearing a neck support.
