MADISON, Wis. -- Two people were arrested Tuesday night after a gun was fired inside an apartment, according to the Madison Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired Tuesday at 10:32pm. Officers were notified a gunshot was heard inside an apartment complex and a projectile had entered an occupied, adjacent apartment. Police said no injuries were reported or found at the scene.

Police contacted and detained several people including two people found in a nearby vehicle. One person was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing a police officer. Another was arrested for

endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and obstructing a police officer. Two handguns were located and seized as evidence related to the investigation.
