Baltimore County teachers showed up at a school board meeting in Towson on Tuesday to demand a fix related to payroll errors.

The Teachers Association of Baltimore County said persistent issues have affected hundreds of employees this school year.

Teachers have been unable to rely on accurate pay, and they’re concerned about a broken system, TABCO said.

Kelly Olds, the association’s president, said teachers deserve better.

“It is absolutely impacting many, many people. Even two people would be too many,” said Helene Groves, a teacher at Owings Mills Elementary School.

Educators said they’ve dealt with missing pay and inaccurate deductions, among other issues.
