CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —
Harvard University is launching an investigation into former University President Larry Summers' connections to convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, according to the Crimson.
New details of his relationship with Epstein emerged last week when lawmakers released years' worth of Epstein's emails.
Summers, who was also Bill Clinton’s Treasury secretary and Barack Obama’s director of the National Economic Council, said earlier this week that he was "deeply ashamed" of his connection and said he would be "stepping back from public commitments."
The school's investigation will also look into all other university affiliates implicated across the documents, who include Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan M. Dershowitz and English professor emerita Elisa F.
