New Delhi: Anmol Bishnoi — younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and a key accused in the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique — landed in New Delhi on Wednesday after being deported from the United States.

He was taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) immediately after arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport and then produced at Patiala House Court. ADVERTISEMENT

Anmol, wanted in 18 criminal cases, is accused of orchestrating the October 12, 2024 assassination of Baba Siddique outside his son’s Bandra office. He is also linked to earlier high-profile crimes, including the 2022 killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala and the April 2024 firing outside actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.
