CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating armed robberies in Little Village Wednesday morning.

A woman said three armed offenders held her at gunpoint here in Little Village and just down the road a similar scene where police say one man was robbed and forced into a vehicle.

The 20-year-old woman who did not want to be identified said she was dropping someone off near 30th Street and Komensky Avenue around 2 a.m. when suddenly a vehicle pulled up with three armed offenders.

"As soon as I was about to drive off this car just pulls right in front of me out of nowhere and it was just way too fast," she said.

The woman said she immediately complied. but the offenders still threatened to take her with them.
