Heung-min Son has had it all his own way since moving to MLS, but he’s now facing some PTSD when he lines up against Thomas Muller.
The former Tottenham captain has racked up ten goals and two assists in 12 games with Los Angeles FC, helping his new side to the Eastern Conference play-off semi-finals.
There he will face another new arrival in North America, Vancouver Whitecaps and Muller .
The match is already being billed as two giants of football for Germany and Korea, but Muller had to point out that things haven’t been too balanced between the pair.
Muller and Son have faced each other nine times with club and country, and seven of those were when Bayern Munich were at their destructive best during Son’s early years in the Bundesliga.
