The central heating will definitely have been on already this week as Glasgow faces this winter's first proper cold snap. Complete with yellow ice warnings from the Met Office and -4C temperatures, many of us are asking when this current sub-zero spell will end.

Luckily for us in Glasgow, the big freeze isn't to last too much longer, with the Met Office confirming 'less cold' temperatures over the weekend. But that's not to say we can expect mild conditions.

While today (November 19), things are to remain frosty at -1C, tomorrow is to be even colder, with the mercury dropping all the way down to -4C overnight- but at least some clear sky and sunshine is forecast throughout the day too.

And towards the end of the week, things are to heat up slightly, though you'll definitely still
