EAST RUTHERFORD - There are lessons to be learned in every NFL coaching search, and at this point, the New York Giants have plenty to share internally since Tom Coughlin's exit at the end of the 2015 season.

Four head coaches have come and gone in the decade that followed: Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and now Brian Daboll, fired last week after three years and 10 games.

While interim coach Mike Kafka will be considered, his resume will be played out in live action over this season's final six games.
