The New Orleans Saints are back in action at home this Sunday after their bye week, to face the Atlanta Falcons in the Caesars Superdome.

It all started back on November 26, 1967, when the Saints defeated the Falcons 27-24 in Tulane Stadium. It was the Falcons’ second season and the Saints’ inaugural season in the NFL.

This will be 113th time that these two franchises will face one another with the Atlanta leading the series 57-56.

Their most memorable matchup was on Monday, September 25th, 2006, dubbed “Domecoming,” which was the Saints first home game played in the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina.
