According to Hanover Police, officers responded to a violent incident at a residence on 6th Avenue on the evening of Nov. 17. Article content

Police said that an investigation determined the 21-year-old man was drinking alcohol inside with family members and friends when he became intoxicated and began making threats to kill those present.
An argument turned physical, police said, and the man attacked a family member, stabbing an adult male victim twice before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for two stab wounds before being released.
