Ford Motor Company is recalling nearly 230,000 vehicles in the United States due to a software flaw in the instrument panel display. The issue can prevent critical information, such as warning lights and vehicle speed, from appearing, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects 2025-2026 model year Bronco and Bronco Sport vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in a notice posted on Tuesday (November 18).
Ford plans to address the issue with a software update, which will be available for free at dealerships or delivered wirelessly through an over-the-air update. As of early November, Ford had received 12 warranty claims potentially related to the display issue, but no injuries have been reported.
