Todd Cramer will replace Wayne M. Kezirian, who is retiring.
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has hired a new president to continue the agency's "mission of protecting and caring for the animals and pet owners in Rhode Island."
Todd Cramer, currently the chief operating officer for the Potter League for Animals in Middletown, will start the new post on Dec. 29, the agency announced in a press release. He will replace Wayne M. Kezirian, who is retiring after serving as president for five years.
