RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Officials with the Reno Tahoe International Airport say they are anticipating thousands of travelers through the airport this Thanksgiving travel season.
Officials are predicting a still strong showing despite the FAA’s recent lifting of flight restrictions.
Passenger volumes are expected to be within range of last year’s holiday totals, with Nov. 25, Nov. 26, and Nov. 30 expected to be the busiest travel days. An estimated 14,000 to 15,000 total passengers are expected on each of those days.
Travelers are asked to help themselves avoid any potential delays by arriving at least two hours before their flight.
