Rams punter Ethan Evans ' pinpoint punting has earned him conference-wide recognition.

Evans on Wednesday was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 11, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Averaging 42.2 yards per punt across six punts against Seattle last Sunday with a long of 52, Evans' biggest kick came in the fourth quarter, when he landed a 50-yarder out of bounds the Seahawks 1-yard line. That punt pinned the Seahawks deep enough that they could only manage a 61-yard field goal attempt that missed short on the ensuing drive, which preserved a 21-19 Rams victory.
