LEELANAU COUNTY — Alan and Debra Campbell, former owners of the Leelanau Enterprise, announced they are selling the buildings that continue to house the county’s weekly newspaper.
“It’s been a good run, and the buildings have been a big part of why the Enterprise has been so successful,” former co-publisher and owner Alan Campbell said. “We bought the publishing operation in 1997, and three years later moved from a building we leased from Richard C. Kerr to our new building on land purchased from Bruce and Betsey Price. Seeco Construction completed the project on time and in budget. The move allowed us to grow our business and better serve our Leelanau County community.
