BENGALURU: Actor Darshan, who is in jail in the Renukaswamy murder case, has filed a petition in court for a bedsheet. He says he cannot sleep because of the cold. He requested the judge to provide a bedsheet, and the judge ordered the jailer to give him one, noting that it is allowed under the law and that it is very cold outside.
Further hearing has been adjourned to December 3. During Wednesday’s trial, Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and other accused persons appeared from Parappana Agrahara Central jail via video conference.
During the proceedings, accused Nagaraj also submitted a request for a bedsheet, pleading, “Sir, give us a bedsheet; they are not giving it. Even if we bring that from home, they won’t allow it”.
