The Mumbai Police has summoned social media personality Orhan “Orry” Awatramani in connection with the Rs 252-crore mephedrone case, ANI reported. Officials said Orry has been directed to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s (ANC) Ghatkopar unit at 10 am on Thursday for questioning. According to the police, Orry’s name surfaced during the investigation into the case, prompting the summons. Officials have clarified that the questioning is procedural and aimed at establishing clarity on statements made by an arrested trafficker. No charges have been levelled against him so far.
