The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team, on Wednesday, took gangster Anmol Bishnoi, wanted in multiple high-profile cases, including the murder of a former Maharashtra minister, into custody after he was deported from the US.
According to media reports, he was taken to the Patiala House court by a team of the NIA.
Anmol, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is wanted in the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique, firing at Bollywood star Salman Khan's residence and the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, among other cases.
According to investigators, Anmol acted as a handler in many criminal operations for his brother, including issuing threats, coordinating shooters and targetted killings.
