ADA COUNTY, Idaho -- An infant in Ada County has been hospitalized with suspected botulism, and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is urging families to stop using certain formulas.

According to DHW, the case is believed to be linked to a recall of ByHeart Whole Nutrition infant formula.

A nationwide outbreak of botulism is being investigated by state and federal health officials.

At this time, this is the only reported case in Idaho.

DHW says families should stop using ByHeart formula immediately.
