A 26-year-old Brantford woman is facing criminal harassment charges after a brief lockdown at North Park Collegiate School on Wednesday morning.
At about 10:20 a.m. Brantford police say they received a report of an unwanted person at the North Park Street school.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the Brantford Police Service placed the school in a temporary lockdown,” said a news release. “Officers quickly cleared the school and determined the subject had left the property.”
The lockdown was lifted at about 10:50 a.m.
Police say no weapons were involved and “at no time was there a threat to students’ safety.”
The accused was found nearby and arrested. She is charged with two counts of criminal harassment and has been held for a bail hearing.
