NL Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes is once again brushing off a report claiming he wants out of Pittsburgh.
In an interview on “The Dan Patrick Show” on Tuesday, Skenes made it clear he isn’t looking for an exit from the Pirates — dismissing an anonymous report linking him to a hoped-for Yankees trade as false and insisting his focus remains on winning in Pittsburgh.
“I was frustrated for a couple of hours, and then kind of got over it and talked to the media later that night,” Skenes said in a clip shared on X/Twitter . “You know, it is what it is. There’s stuff that’s going to come out, you know, good and bad ... it’s not true.”
