Video began circulating recently of Donald Trump talking to reporters while traveling on Air Force One, as he often does.

It's called a gaggle, when a group of reporters surrounds the president (or any notable figure, really) and ask questions. It's like an informal press conference, and it's sometimes possible to find the interview subject more unguarded than they would be in a formal setting. The practice often occurs on campaign buses, after big events, when the president is leaving or returning to the White House.
