GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Warriors along with former Gator Will Richard took on the Magic in Orlando on Tuesday.

Although falling to the Magic, the rookie received his hand-delivered NCAA Championship Ring from Head Coach Todd Golden ahead of the game.

This taking place seven months following the National Championship, Golden along with assistant Carlin Hartman drove almost two hours to give him the ring in front of the rest of the Warriors team.

Richard has rapidly moved into the starting lineup for Golden State and has become a favorite of Kerr in his short time with the Warriors. Posting six points and two assists in 15 minutes during Tuesday’s 113-121 loss to the Magic.
