HURON – A local tradition continues this year with the Huron County Christmas Bureau, which has been helping families for more than 60 years.
The Christmas Bureau, organized by Rural Response for Health Children, raises funds every year to distribute gift cards for grocery and retail stores to Huron families in need, helping ensure they have meals to enjoy and presents to open during the Christmas season. Article content

Rural Response for Healthy Children executive director Katrina Clarke said 560 families were assisted by the program last year, including more than 1,300 children, which represents one in 10 children aged 18 or younger in the county. Article content
